COMMITMENT
«Change happens through movement and movement heals».
Joseph H. Pilates
In the in2motion studio, you and your individual needs and goals take centre stage. I accompany you attentively and true to the motto of Joseph H. Pilates: “movement heals”. I combine the traditional Pilates principles with the latest medical findings and studies. I work collaboratively with doctors, chiropractors and physiotherapists and apply the anatomically based movement and therapy concept of Spiraldynamik® in my practice.
When training, I place great emphasis on finding the right balance between the level of difficulty and intensity of the exercise programme and your ability to perform and move. The efficient use of muscle strength requires constant mental concentration and control. In addition to concentration, the coordination of breathing and movement is a central element of the Pilates method. We move the body from a strong centre, working with precision and paving the way for the natural rhythm of movement. The systematic training with progressive exercise sequences targets all areas of the body, with the emphasis on the centre of the body. I work systematically with integration before expansion, from proximal to distal and from stable to unstable. Flexion, extension, lateral flexion and rotation of the spine are systematically combined. The training builds strength and improves flexibility, balance and coordination. Chronic tension and stress are reduced. Posture and silhouette are improved and body awareness is increased.
The training programme is suitable for everyone, from the sedentary to the professional athlete. Pilates is particularly suitable for rehabilitation after injuries, to compensate for muscular imbalances or for regression after pregnancy.
All the trainers who teach in my studio have the highest possible training and undergo regular further training to deepen their knowledge and skills and to be able to respond flexibly to your needs and goals.

Pilates
The Pilates method is unique in its balance between strengthening and stretching. The principle of dynamic stability runs through all Pilates exercises. Agonists and antagonists are activated in a balanced way, resulting in a dynamically stabilised path of movement.
Pilates is a holistic training programme that creates a fusion of body and mind. I combine traditional Pilates principles with the latest medical knowledge and research. The core of the body, the deep abdominal, pelvic and back muscles are strengthened.
Conscious, flowing movements combined with focused breathing improve the coordination and balance of the body. Posture and silhouette are improved and body awareness is increased.
Today, an estimated 15 million people worldwide practice Pilates. Suitable for everyone from athletes and the physically active to those recovering from injury, the method combines a collection of exercises specifically designed to meet the individual needs of the client. Pilates is a living discipline that evolves and refines through ongoing practice and study. Exercises are performed on the mat and on specially designed equipment and are adapted to the individual needs of the client.
Spiraldynamik®
Spiraldynamik® is an anatomically based movement and therapy concept from which the coordinated use of the body can be derived.
Spiraldynamik® enables one to develop an expanded awareness of familiar movement patterns. The three-dimensional use of space as a design element is well known and familiar to dancers and movement educators. The perception of three-dimensional movement possibilities in the joints, however, is barely known.
If not used correctly, muscles and ligaments lose elasticity and dynamism and the range and diversity of movement is restricted with time. This results in false movements and overloads of the joints that eventually lead to injuries and pain. Anatomically correct movement in the daily training and professional life is important to injury prevention and is necessary for long-term performance and the durability of the body.
In Spiraldynamik®, the origins of pain and incorrect loading are precisely analysed and new movement qualities are taught.Spiraldynamik® is suitable for almost all complaints of the movement system – pain, tension, premature wear and tear. With the help of Spiraldynamik® therapy, movement lessons or individual consultations, you can optimise your movement sequences and posture.
Yogalates
Yogalates? Don’t let the name confuse you! Yogalates is a fusion practice that merges the ancient Indian practice of yoga with the Western practice of Pilates. It combines the yogic focus on enhanced mind and body awareness, strength, stamina, flexibility and balance, with Pilates techniques to improve core strengths, posture and create a strong, stable foundation for movement. Both emphasize correct breathing and meditative mindfulness.
Yogalates is suitable for all ages and is excellent for developing general tone and fitness, while also encouraging a connection with self to soothe the nervous system, release stress, aid relaxation and instill inner calm and overall wellbeing.
